This site is a tribute to John Edward Baldock. He is the much loved father of Martin, Ian and Katy, grandfather of Helen, and Rob, great grandfather of Tom, Freddie, Oliver, Maya, Charlie, and Matilda.

He was an extraordinary man, in that understated and unassuming way of his, always kind and friendly, fastidious in how he presented himself to the world. Quick to smile and greet with a warm welcome, gesture or hug.  He was devoted to our late mother Audrey throughout their long, happy marriage. To all those who knew him, he valued your friendship, and your kindness towards him.  While those of us that will not be able to attend the funeral in person during Lockdown, the family aim to gather from far and wide later in the year when we can congregate in Kent more safely, to pay our respects in person, to bury Dad in our family plot in Boxley Church graveyard, and to celebrate Dad's long life together. 

We will always remember him with love and admiration
